Willow collection Bundle

30 Unrooted cuttings

5 Rubykins (Pussy willow)

5 Lemoine’s improved (Pussy willow)

5 Winter Glory (Pussy Willow)

5 Dart Snake (Curly)

5 Scarlet Curls (Curly)

5 Green Curly (Curly)

All bundles will be banded and labeled separately

Storage (If Ground is Frozen): If the ground is still frozen, leave the cuttings in the plastic bag, then store them in the refrigerator. They’ll hold for several weeks until the soil is workable.

Prepare the Cuttings: Cuttings are trimmed and ready for planting. The flat cut is the top and the angled cut at the bottom. Check the leaf nodes and how they are oriented. They should point upward.

Plant the Cuttings: Push the cuttings directly into moist, soil, burying about one-third to half of the cutting. Make sure at least one or two nodes are underground.

Water and Care: Water thoroughly after planting and keep the soil consistently moist until the cuttings establish. Willows root quickly and should start sprouting leaves in a few weeks as the temperatures rise.
